DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI (D)

Arrive in Hanoi. Greeted by your guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel in the city centre. Let’s start our visit by History Museum where thousands of antiques are maintained to learn about
Hanoi short tours and stopover

the ancient culture of Vietnam. A lot of exhibits-like souvenirs will be met again by you when strolling around Hanoi next day. Visit the Ngoc Son Temple located on the Sword Lake. Take a cyclo tour around the Old Quarter, where Hanoians produce or sell almost only one kind of product on each particular street or alley, and name the street after the goods. Dinner followed by a show of Water Puppetry, a unique Stage art of Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: COTTAGE INDUSTRY VILLAGES NEARBY HANOI (B/L)

A short visit to the Museum of Ethnology will give you an overall idea of the multi-nation culture of Vietnam today and help you understand the art of making costumes and other handicreaft of each ethnic. Head to the suburb of Hanoi to visit Bat Trang ceramic village, the home of pottery artisans who have been wellknown since 15th century for their superb crackle, celadon and other types of porcelain. 40km from Bat Trang is Dong Ky wooden furniture village, where you can view hundreds of talented carpenters making wooden products from precious ebony, rose wood, sandal and pine wood with mother-of-pearl and marble inlays. Back to Hanoi for lunch before arriving in Van Phuc Silk village and visit some families feeding worms and making famous traditional silk. Back to Hanoi late afternoon for overnight. Dinner at your own arrangement.

DAY 3: HANOI AT LEISURE (B)

You are at your leisure today. The galleries in Hanoi are featured by lacquer ware and lacquered pictures, oil paintings, silk paintings and traditional paintings drawn or woodblock-printed on “giay do”, a special kind of paper made traditionally from rice powder. Other crafts made of shell, straw and other ingredients, and different kinds of clothes of silk, linen, cotton, raw thread made by minority ethnic people etc. will surely attract you! Overnight in Hanoi. (no meals provided).

DAY 4: DEPART FROM HANOI (B)

At your leisure till your guide arrive and accompany you to Noi Bai airport for the onward flight.
